Ernesto Morales, in the exhibition “Di nuvole e di soglie” (“Of clouds and thresholds”) presents two of his most well-known series, previously displayed in international museums: “Clouds” and “Places.” These oil-on-canvas paintings deeply reflect his artistic and conceptual exploration of the last decade. Through “Clouds”, Morales explores the fluidity and ephemerality of clouds, capturing their transformation and mutability as a metaphor for the human condition and the impermanence of life itself. In contrast, the series “Places” focuses on representations of locations, often intertwining memory and perception through the use of colours and compositions that evoke emotions and memories.
